By-Laws / Rules & Regulations

It is important to understand the structure of how we as condominium association govern ourselves.  At Woodsmill Pointe there are three documents that spell out our standards.  This consists of the ‘Declaration of Condominium’, ‘Association By-Laws’, ‘ Rules and Regulations’

The Declaration of Condominium – This is the primary legal document adopted by the Assocation.

Association By-Laws – These are detailed rules of conduct for management and the homeowner. These are authorized by the Declaration of Condominium and are subject to change or addition by the board.

Association Rules  further define the original by-laws. These are created by the Board of Directors and effect gets into all the issues, big and small, that the Board has encountered through the years. It is how the Board governs the homeowners. It covers the majority of the issues that may arise.  At times there are supplemental modifications to the Association Rules to address situations not addressed by the original document.

Our community was developed in two stages.  Because of this there are two sections each with it’s governing boards.  There are some differences between for the governing documents.  If you are not sure which section you live in click here
